Men’s 1st XI
The University of St Andrews Men's 1st XI have had a hugely successful past few years.
The past few years have seen the Men’s 1st XI become a dominant force in Scottish University Hockey. In recent times we have played in BUCS North Prem B gaining some very honourable results against much bigger and sportier universities; the highlight being beating Loughbourough 2nd team at home in the final game of the season. There are high expectations for next year, with the team looking forward to returning to Scottish BUCS 1A, with the hope for promotion back to BUCS North Prem B. Although we do play hockey at a high level, training twice a week and taking part in regular strength and conditioning sessions, we pride ourselves on our ability to perfectly blend competitive hockey with a very active social life which we're sure all freshers will enjoy in the coming year!
