2017 was a great year for Hockey in St Andrews with the first University run programme seeing over 70 different children coming across the week.
With support from International players and coaches the week of sessions at the University is about much more than babysitting. The players learn valuable skills across the week to take back into the club and school programmes.
The camps run all day from 9 – 5pm so are an ideal way for working parents to make sure their children develop additional skills in a team sport which provides many benefits as the child grows up. Throughout the week coaches work on hockey specific skills as well as fundamental skills appropriate for their age and stage of development but also balance this with fun activities.
