Support the Hockey Club

We are constantly looking to drive our club forward into the future, experiencing growth in membership every year, and consistently striving to improve the quality of our teams. we are proud to now have 9 teams competing in BUCS leagues and Seven of these also playing in National or Regional leagues played across Scotland.

As a result of this growth over the last few years, our club has been recognized with a number of awards. In 2015 we won the award for Scottish Student Sport Club of the Year and we have also gained Silver Club Accreditation status from Scottish Hockey - one of only two university clubs to have done so. We are proud of these achievements, however, we are motivated to continue to reach new goals, the club’s next aim is to become one of only 5 clubs to reach Gold Accreditation in upcoming years.

In addition to improving our club, we are also dedicated to providing a positive impact to our local community. We have developed a Nationally recognised junior programme, in which members of our club provide coaching to local children from the ages of 7-16, with the aim of filtering these children through to Madras Hockey Club and we also run a number of hockey camps aimed at children from the local area as well as internationally. We want to see engagement with the sport that we love to continue to grow and through these programs we have been able to provide access to hockey to over 200 children since we began our partnership with Madras Hockey Club in 2015.

The University of St Andrews Hockey Club is on a really positive path at the moment, and we are all extremely excited to see how the club continues to develop over the coming years. However, this growth does not come without expenses, and we are always looking for new avenues to raise funds in order to help us reach the targets that we have in place. If you would like to donate to the club, we would be extremely grateful.
